— COMPANY HISTORY —

Al-Fateh group’s initial seed in 1985 was the culmination of the career experiences of Eng. Mohamed Fathelbab, a bright Egyptian engineer who, before founding his company, worked in the historic project of the Egyptian high dam, headed many production facilities in the field of steel fabrication, and was the first to introduce the corrugated sheets cladding systems back in the early 1970s.

Since its foundation in 33 years ago, the company has been subject to steady growth. In the following timeline, the major points in history can be highlighted:

1985

the company was founded. It all started with the production of cladding systems for steel buildings including corrugated steel sheets and insulating sandwich panels with poly-urethane as the insulating material.

1990

the steel structures’ business line was introduced. The company started producing steel trusses, pre-engineered steel buildings, and cold stores.

1995

a new division of plate works was introduces to serve the sectors of cement plants, electromechanical works, power stations, and shelters and pre-fab buildings.

1999

the company expanded its product range to include space trusses,space frame systems, overhead cranes, and pressure vessels.

2007

the company completed the Sharm El-Sheikh airport that marked the company’s setting foot on this level of mega projects.

2008

the expanded its business in Sudan by partnering in a joint venture and building an industrial plant in Sudan.

2010

the company operated its third and largest production plant in the city of BaniSwif (South of Cairo) with state-of-the-art technologies and CNC machines.

2016

the company expanded its business divisions by entering into the commercial vehicles sector and established an industrial plant in 10th of Ramadan to serve this purpose.

2017

the company was granted three grants from the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the German ministry of Economy and power and The GIZ, all to develop its export strategy to the EU.

2018

the company plans to finalizethe process of earning the EN1090 European quality certificate, the ASME American quality certificate, and to open new sales offices in East and West Africa.
